About Me

I was born and raised in Austin, TX on June 12, 1977. I went to Bowie HS and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University. I always wanted to be in Entertainment, but I was too scared to pursue it fully… so I dabbled for years. From cheerleading to acting, to commercials, to teaching dance… oh, and I tried my hand at stand-up comedy for about 3 months. (That was a lot harder than I thought!)

I was always fairly smart, but not at peace… very restless for having such a charmed life. At the age of about 27, I started going to a great church and really started blossoming from there. I realized that I didn’t have to be any more than I already was to be happy. I didn’t have to achieve any more to “get there”… we never “arrive” in a secular world.

My journey continued from there… All the while I was working in Corporate Marketing positions, some more fun than others, but none allowing me to fully express all that I wanted. In the Summer of 2007, I decided it was time for a change. Time to see what I could do without all of the support and comfort of my hometown…

So in June of 2008, I moved to Chicago. As I moved, my corporate job did not move with me, and I had to choose… do I pursue another “day job” right away? Or do throw my heart and soul into my dream of being a talk show host and see how far I can get without working for “the man”.
